CEEBA Business Luncheon

The Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations has organized on Tuesday 13th of December 2011, a limited roundtable with H.E. Marc Franco, EU Ambassador and head of EC Delegation with the heads of the European Bilateral Chambers in Egypt as well as Mr. Ahmed El Wakil, Chairman, Federation of Egyptian Chambers to discuss the present economic situation and What the EU is doing in that direction.

10th World Wind Energy Conference and Renewable Energy Exhibition

The World Wind Energy Association, the Egyptian Wind Energy Association and the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce welcomed the presence of more than 500 participants attending the conference this year in Cairo, from wind and all other renewable energy technologies.

The Egyptian Dutch Water Week

The Egyptian Dutch Water Week was a trade mission organized by Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), in close cooperation with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt and supported by CEEBA, scheduled from 25th to 30th of June 2011 in Cairo, Egypt. Guest of honour was the Egyptian minister H.E. Dr. Hussein El Atfy (Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation).

MED Ports - Development of clusters in port logistics services of the Mediterranean Basin

CEEBA organized a delegation of Egyptian logistics service providers visiting the 9th Mediterranean Transport and Logistics Forum in Barcelona, Spain. The delegation consisted of Egyptian representatives of KGL Logistics Egypt – EastMed S.A.E , the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Karl Gross Egypt, Interlog and Ibramar Alexandria. This event was part of the ongoing activities of the project “MED PORTS – Development of clusters in port logistics services of the Mediterranean Basin.

MEDAFinance 2010 - The 2nd Euro Mediterranean Conference and Exhibition on Donor Funding, Banking and Novel Financial Instruments

Prominent and distinguished guests such as Eng. Rachid Mohamed Rachid. former Minister of Trade & Industry who delivered the key note address of Dr. Ahmed Nazif, Dr. Aly Al-Moselhy, former Minister of Social Solidarity and H.E. Marc Franco, EU Ambassador were the honorary guests at the inauguration.

Euro-Mediterranean Industry Forum- Reshaping the Mediterranean Post Crisis Industry- and the EC Invest-in-Med Conference

Under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif, Prime Minister of Egypt, the Euro-Mediterranean Industry Forum and the EU Invest-in-Med Conference took place on the 21st- 22nd April 2010.

The Conference focused on the accomplishments of the Mediterranean region to this day and the future challenges especially in the light of the financial crisis. Possible solutions and benefits for the economies from both shores were discussed.

On the 17th of March 2010 Dr. Ahmed Nazif addressed for the first time the CEEBA members . More than 350 members attended the meeting that was also addressed by the chairman of CEEBA Mr. Mahmoud Al Kaissy and the Chairman of BEBA Mr. Hazem Hassan.

Slovenian Companies meet with Egyptian Counterparts

The Prime Minister of Slovenia H.E. Borut Pahor as well as H.E. Dr. Mohie El Din Minister of Investment were the guests of honor at the Slovenian-Egyptian Business Seminar held by The Confederation of Egyptian European Business Association (CEEBA). The event took place Tuesday December 15th, 2009 with a Slovenian business delegation seeking Egyptian counterparts.

Launch of the Governorate - Based National Master Plan for Water Supply and Wastewater in Egypt

Under the auspices of and addressed by H.E. Eng. Ahmed El-Maghraby, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development of Egypt, and in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Nasr El Din, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, the Governorate-Based National Master Plan for Water Supply and Wastewater was launched on 6th July 2009.

Cypriot Egyptian Business Forum

On the occasion of the visit of H.E. Demetris Christofias, President of the Republic of Cyprus, CEEBA had the pleasure to host on the 7th of April 2009 together with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Tourism of Cyprus in cooperation with the Cyprus Chamber of commerce the Cypriot – Egyptian business forum: “An international Financial and Business Centre”. The Business Forum featured top speakers giving presentations on the bilateral cooperation & explaining different elements of each country’s trade policy.
