From 19 - 21 September 2017, the ICC World Chambers Federation and its co-organizer, the Sydney Business Chamber, will host the 10th World Chambers Congress (#10WCC) in Sydney, Australia.
Under the theme “Where business connects,” the flagship event aims to examine and discuss today’s most pressing global issues. With over 100 countries represented, the #10WCC provides an unparalleled opportunity to network, share knowledge and exchange best practices with a diverse and international group of top-level individuals. Topics of the programme are the 4th Industrial revolution, Diversity, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, Innovate new chamber services, Leadership, Migration, Sustainable cities, Technology changing business, TomorrowÃ‚Â´s world and Trade.
Taking place at the harbour city’s newest convention centre, the International Convention Centre Sydney, the #10WCC gathers chamber, business and government figures from around the world. Speakers are e.g. Ouided Bouchamaoui, Joint Winner of Nobel Peace Price 2015 and President of Tunisian Confederation of Trade, Industry and Handicrafts, and Steve Killelea, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Institute for Economics and Peace.
The #10WCC also holds the World Chambers Competition. It is the only global award programme to recognise the most innovative projects undertaken by chambers of commerce and industry. Prizes will be awarded to Projects in the Categories “Best CSR project”*, “Best job creation and business development project”, “Best SMEs financing project” and “Best unconventional project.”
