During his visit to Brussels President Mursi discussed the recent economic situation with EU High Representative Catherine Ashton.
They agreed on establishing a EU-Egypt Task Force that is going to act between Egypt and the EU to support economic, political and social development. A special focus will lay on the Tourism sector, but the transfer of technology and education are likewise issues of the new partnership. The aim is to renew investor’s confidence and strengthen political and economic stability in the new democracy.
